Like our friends at Paper Crafts magazine, our friends at Creating Keepsakes are also hard at work on the January / February 2013 issue. Hard to believe isn’t it?
In addition to the call shared on the CK website here, CK is currently seeking layouts featuring a few specific topics and products. Here are some additional details to help you in your efforts ….
Layouts Using Yarn
We are looking for layouts about winter, love, new beginnings, and relationships that showcase the use of yarn in fun and clever ways. If you have a layout with a technique using yarn, we’d love to see it! Send us a scan or digital photo of your layout, along with a supply list and any cool techniques you used to create your layout by Monday, June 25, 2012 to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “Yarn” in the subject line. Please include your contact information, a complete list of supplies including adhesive and fonts used in the body of the e-mail. Your layout could be published in an upcoming issue!
Remember: Priority will be given to never before seen, 2-page, multi-photo layouts. If your layout has been featured online, please include a link with your submission for evaluation.
Romantic Love Layouts
Creating Keepsakes is looking for elegant and romantic layouts about couples, anniversaries, and love stories for our upcoming Jan/Feb 2013 issue. Layouts should specifically focus on using sophisticated digital and/or traditional supplies and demonstrate non-traditional Valentine motifs. Focus specifically on paper, trims, or textiles that will show readers how to utilize new supplies or re-create supply staples for a rich, lovely creation.
Please submit a JPG of your layouts as well as the supplies used on it by Monday, June 25 to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “Romantic Love Layouts” in the subject line for consideration.
Layouts in 45 Minutes or Less
Creating Keepsakes is looking for fantastic layouts to include in our Jan/Feb 2013 Fast Pages column. Layouts should be able to be completed in 45 minutes or less and give readers time-saving solutions. Our themes for this issue are winter, love, new beginnings, and relationships, so feel free to choose or combine any of these on your layouts. Please submit a JPG of your layouts as well as the supplies used on it by Monday, June 25 to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “Fast Pages” in the subject line for consideration. Creative Layouts Featuring Cell Phone Photos
We’re taking more photos with our cell phones that ever before. Have you created a layout featuring these phone photos? We want to see it! Please send us: * a JPG of the layout (as long as it hasn’t been published previously) and * the supplies you used to create it. Follow a Sketch
Creating Keepsakes wants to see your fresh, never-before-published pages about winter, love, new beginnings, and relationships following this CK Sketch. Send us a scan or digital photo of your layout, along with a supply list and short description of any cool techniques you used to create it by Monday, June 25, 2012 to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “CK Sketches” in the subject line. Please include your contact information, a complete list of supplies (including adhesive, font, and pen), and details about the techniques you used on your layout in the body of the e-mail. Your page could be published in an upcoming issue!
